This is a home we’ve lived in for nearly 28 years. Before it undergoes renovation, I’ve decided to open it up and invite everyone to create on-site using the materials provided here. The medium is open—your work can be two-dimensional, three-dimensional, performative, a poem, a gift, or even a dish. You’re welcome to come make, eat, chat, or simply space out. This is a practice in remembering the past, being present, and gently approaching what’s to come.

A painting of Happiness on Plum Branch (喜上梅梢) was found after the shoe cabinet was removed.
